Short Bio

Shuyue Hu joined Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Lab in May 2022. Prior to this, she received her bachelor degree at South China University of Technology in 2015 and her doctoral degree at the Chinese University of Hong Kong under the supervision of Prof. Ho-fung Leung in 2019. From 2020 to 2022, she was a postdoctoral research fellow working with Prof. Harold Soh at National University of Singapore, and Prof. Georgios Piliouras at Singapore University of Technology and Design.

Shuyue’s research focuses on multi-agent systems, game theory, and large language models. She has actively contributed to the multi-agent systems community, including her recent role as an organizing committee member of AAMAS’24. Additionally, she serves as a (senior) PC member of leading AI conferences (such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, and ECAI) and a guest editor of Neurocomputing.

In May 2024, Shuyue celebrated the arrival of a new addition to her family. Now, in her precious free time, she enjoys training her own intelligent agent---her lovely newborn daughter!
